The National Youth Service (NYS) is a flagship national programme aimed at equipping young South Africans with practical skills, community service experience, and improved employability. Implemented by BEYOP, the 2026–2027 cycle focuses on empowering youth in Tembisa, Rabie Ridge, Kanana, Ebony Park, and Ivory Park.

The National Youth Service (NYS) Phase V (2026–2027) is a youth empowerment initiative implemented by Blueberry Education Youth Programmes (BEYOP). This opportunity is designed for young people aged 18–35 who are committed to personal growth, community development, and gaining real workplace exposure. Eligible applicants will participate in a structured six‑month programme that includes skills development, mentorship, community service, and a monthly stipend.

The programme prioritizes unemployed youth residing in Tembisa, Rabie Ridge, Kanana, Ebony Park, and Ivory Park, offering them a pathway to improved employability and long‑term career readiness. Applicants must submit certified documents, a valid SARS tax reference, proof of an active African Bank account, and an updated CV. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews and verification.

This opportunity empowers young people to serve their communities while building practical skills that open doors to future employment and development.

Who Can Apply

  • Unemployed youth aged 18–35

  • South African citizens

  • Residents of the listed communities

  • Must commit to the full six‑month programme (384 hours)

  • Must demonstrate integrity, willingness to learn, and community commitment
